All of those features create a combination of sound, light, and color for the Opera House space.
The Opera House has not simply only architectural value but also historical and cultural heritage. We can say that this is the first destination that witnessed “the touch” of Vietnamese people with Western culture and art, especially music and performance on stage. After the construction, the Opera House has become the center of cultural events for French and a part of authorizing Vietnamese people. In 2000, there were only 17 performance shows, while this number increased gradually to 400 shows per year in 2010 with the participation of over 140 delegations from Vietnam to oversea.
